They are grey-brown in color and have sharp lips.  Although they are not seen in our country, they are easily seen in America and Canada.  They have adapted themselves to the environment where they live.  Their size and singing ability depends on the climate of the region.  In spring and summer the male birds sing and fly from branch to branch.  Thus they attract female birds for mating.  Male and female birds look for nests where they can live together.

The name may suggest that they are related to foxes.  But in reality it is nothing like that.  There is a type of fox that looks like a combination of red and orange.  They are so named because they resemble the skin color of the fox.  Most sparrows look the same and there is not much variation.  However, there are some species of sparrows that are slightly colorful.  This color variation is found in the North American region.  Although they are supposed to live in thickets or forests, they can be seen around bird nests or feeders near people.

They are found across the eastern two-thirds of North America.  They travel from their breeding grounds as far away as Canada during the summer. Among animals there are different categories of animals;  Some animals are harmless in nature and some animals are violent in nature. We are usually used to seeing monkeys in trees and assume that monkeys live in trees.  But this is partially true.  Among the monkeys, two types of species are found together based on where they live.  One type of species is arboreal monkey and the other species is terrestrial.  Both of them fall under the category of mimic animals.  This feature is common across species.  However, tree-dwelling monkeys are more common in our country.  Even in zoos we see monkeys in cages who love to jump.  They keep themselves clean like humans. So far, scientists have found 264 species of monkeys.  Most of these monkeys are found in Asia and Africa.  An important characteristic of monkeys is that they like to imitate.  Once seen doing this imitation, the habit is not easily forgotten.




 Rather, they perform some activities on a daily basis.  Due to human indifference many times we don't like to eat dry food normally.  But it is learned from monkeys that they prefer to wash any food before eating it.  That is why people should wash any food before eating or cooking.

Curiosity is very active in monkeys.  Like young children, they have an inquisitive mind before learning anything new.  Likewise, they work with curiosity all the time about all subjects or objects.  No other animal generally entertains humans as much as monkeys.
