Umiam lake Boathouse

Lumpongdeng island is a small hillock located in the middle of the Umiam lake, Meghalaya. A boat house is located in the island. Access to the island is only by boat which can be hired from the Umiam Lake Water sports complex. If one has isolation in mind, then it doesn't get better than this.

Umiam Lake Boathouse

Umiam Lake is famous for its lovely little Boathouse by a lake island, the Lumpongden Island. Visitors have to book the Boat House in advance. Only one group of people (6 people maximum) can stay at the Boat House at a time, so the ones needing peace and privacy away from the crowds frequently book this place. 

Water Sports Complex = INR 1200 (to and fro), 
Boat House = INR 3500,
