This vid was shot by Larry Witmer (Ohio University) at the Madras Crocodile Bank in southeastern India on 20 July 1997. Witmer was there to study the narial excrescence (ghara) of gharials, but stopped to watch the more normal nose of this Siamese crocodile (Crocodylus siamensis). It's a pretty arcane video but if you're interested in crocodilian breathing, it's interesting to see how these narial muscles operate.
