Prachandgad is another name for the popular Torna Fort, which is located approximately at the height of 1403m above sea level. The highest hill in Pune has great significance in history as it was first captured by Shivaji Maharaj when he was 16, and this was not until 1643. Torna Fort is a precious piece of architecture with beautifully designed towers and monuments.
