Food and Drug Administration raids Vashi market, seize mangoes with toxic chemicals
Eating mangoes which are ripened using toxic chemicals can cause harm to the health. Recently, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) raided the APMC market in Vashi. The agency acted after they received a tip-off about the selling of ripened mangoes with toxic chemicals. Around 109 dozens of mangoes were collected as samples to test for the presence of toxic chemicals. |
