With over its 80% unspoiled rainforest, Guyana is a hothouse of interest at every turn to botanist. To each region, distinct plant associations are found according to the differences of soil and its formation. From the alluvial flat coastal plains that slowly rises to the rich vegetation covered sand dunes, river valleys, wet savannahs, hills and untouched mountains, the transition from one region to another is for the most part gradual and is never so abrupt that distinct zones of flora are defined. Blue Magpie‍ is a beautiful bird

They are also known as Ceylon Magpies.  They are found in Sri Lanka.  They are the most beautiful of all the birds in Sri Lanka.  They are very efficient hunters in dense forests.  They hunt at high speed.  Compared to birds of prey, their wings are very weak.  Because of this, they cannot cover long distances in a short time.

Green Magpie is a beautiful bird

They belong to the crow family and look a bit smaller than our country dowels.  Their body is bright green in color and their eyes are slightly black.  Their lips are red.  All together the bird looks very beautiful.  They look a lot like tea birds.

"These beauties attract hummingbirds and butterflies, but deer and rabbits don't care for them," she says. "They make excellent cut flowers, and they naturalize easily. They are also excellent planted in containers with annuals in similar hues to add a bright pop of color and surprise in mid-summer."
