Flying Beautiful Magpie Birds

It was very nice to see two very beautiful magpie birds flying in the sky

They are actually called Blue Magpies.  They can be found in Taiwan.  They are called "Long Tail Mountain Lady" because their tail is very long.  They are loved by everyone because of their incredible beauty.

Yellow lipped dove the bird

They look a lot like magpies of our country.  But there are some differences.  Their beak is different from the birds of our country and it is yellow in color.  Their tails are slightly longer than the tails of our country's birds and are inclined downwards.  The tail of our country's birds is steep.

Agios Magpies

They belong to the crow family.  They are up to 31-35 cm in length.  They look a lot like Eurasian magpies.  But they are proportionally smaller than the Eurasian magpie.  It is bluish in color from wing to tail.  They have completely dark colored eyes, head and lips.  They look beautiful because of this light color.

These squirrels live in deciduous and mixed forests and prefer to build their nests in tree cavities. Additionally, the Southern Flying Squirrels huddle together for warmth during the winter season. 

Their diet comprises nuts, seeds, fruits, insects, bird eggs, and small birds. 

Moreover, they play a significant role in their ecosystems by planting the seeds of new forests and being a food source for larger predators.

Northern Flying Squirrel (Glaucomys sabrinus)

Northern Flying Squirrels are expert gliders that use a skin-like membrane called the patagium to navigate their treetop homes. 

They typically live in mature, dense forests where they have access to a variety of food, including fungi, which they help to disperse by scattering spores. 

These squirrels also huddle in their nests to keep warm during cold temperatures.
