সূরা ফালাক পবিত্র কোরআনের ১১৩ তম সূরা। এর আয়াত সংখ্যা ৫। সূরাটি মক্কায় অবতীর্ণ। শয়তানের আক্রমণ ও জাদুটোনাসহ সব ধরনের অনষ্টিতা থেকে মুক্ত থাকতে— এ সূরার নিয়মিত আমলই মানুষের জন্য যথেষ্ট।

হাদিস শরিফে প্রত্যেক ফরজ নামাজের পর তা পড়ার গুরুত্ব এসেছে। এক বর্ণনায় এসেছে, যে ব্যক্তি সকাল-সন্ধ্যা সূরা ইখলাস ও এই দুই সূরা পড়বে সে সকল বিপদ-আপদ থেকে নিরাপদ থাকবে। (জামে তিরমিজি, হাদিস : ২৯০৩)
হজরত আয়েশা (রা.) থেকে বর্ণিত, রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম প্রতি রাতে যখন ঘুমাতে যেতেন, তখন নিজের উভয় হাত এক সঙ্গে মিলাতেন। তারপর উভয় হাতে ফুঁক দিতেন এবং সূরা ইখলাস, সূরা ফালাক, সূরা নাস পড়তেন। তারপর দেহের যতটুকু অংশ সম্ভব হাত বুলিয়ে নিতেন। তিনি মাথা, মুখমণ্ডল ও শরীরের সামনের অংশ থেকে শুরু করতেন। তিনি এরূপ তিনবার করতেন। -(সহি বুখারি, হাদিস : ৫০১৭)
