McDowell’s No.1 Soda is thrilled to announce the onset of “Yaari Season”, a celebration dedicated to the unbreakable bonds of friendship. McDowell’s No.1 Soda invites people around the country to embrace the true spirit of Yaari.

As part of the Yaari Season, McDowell’s No.1 Soda is bringing back the hit Yaari anthem created in collaboration with renowned musicians Armaan Malik, Amaal Malik, and Nikhita Gandhi. The anthem, titled “Yaari Duniya Pe Bhaari”, has already garnered over 31 million views, and is sweeping across social media platforms, touching the hearts of millions of Yaars. This anthem also marks the first-ever collaboration of the sibling duo, who have come together for the very first time.


The anthem is an ode to celebrate friendship and evoke a sense of togetherness. The upbeat rhythm, infectious energy and heartfelt delivery of the anthem has truly enraptured the audience all over the nation. Male moose engage in intense battles during mating season

During their rut, males put their huge antlers to work as formidable weapons and impressive displays to attract potential mates. 

Male moose or bull moose engage in intense battles, locking their antlers together and shoving each other with incredible force as they vie for the right to mate with female moose, called cows. However, brute strength is only an example of their strategies in their quest for the attention of a cow moose. Scent and sound also play essential roles during the mating season.

They also display behavioral patterns similar to other cervids, including courtship croaking, tongue flicking, and genital smelling. However, both sexes show little apparent post-copulation behavior. The research also found that moose cows only mate with one male except for a few cases where a female had two male partners2.

Buffalos give birth in the rainy season

The gestation period of buffalo mothers lasts nearly 11 months, with the mating season aligned with the onset of the rainy season, which provides abundant resources, such as lush vegetation and water.

Although the dry season extends from May through October, the driest period is in the cool mid-winter months. Temperatures are at their most pleasant, with warm days, low humidity, and virtually no rainfall. Mid-day temperatures average a very pleasant 79°F (26°C) in mid-winter, with deep-blue cloudless skies. However, nighttime temperatures fall dramatically. Early morning temperatures just before sunrise average about 50°F (10°C), and are often much colder.

By November the mercury soars, the humidity rises exponentially as the rainy season sets in, and mosquitoes are more prevalent. The summer months can be uncomfortably hot: daytime high temperatures average 90°F (32°C) and can peak well above 100 °F (38 °C), while your clothes will stick to your body in the muggy air. Late afternoons and evenings often bring dramatic thunderstorms—especially in December-February, the hottest and wettest months. However, it rarely rains all day and mornings are usually clear. This is a season to laze away the mid-day hours in the relative comfort of your lodge or camp (in summer, we recommend staying at an air-conditioned lodge, as camping requires a high degree of tolerance for heat and rain).

Whether you love animals or are just curious about them, Animalogic breaks down what makes different animals unique and amazing. With new episodes released every other week, Animalogic goes in depth into each animal. What do they look like, where do they live, how do they hunt, what’s special about them, how do they make it in this harsh world? Throughout each episode, the host and illustrator bring the animals to life with little known facts about the featured animal, as she illustrates it in the background. Did you know Bonobos can play Pac man? Or that rabbits were used as pregnancy tests? Or that there is a jellyfish, that when sick or injured, can revert to its younger self, essentially making it immortal? The series is hosted by Danielle Dufault, an award-winning scientific illustrator at the Royal Ontario Museum.
