Source and Sound: Two Poems by Krystyna Dąbrowska
Polish poet Krystyna Dąbrowska (b. 1979) is the author of four highly regarded collections of poetry, most recently Ścieżki dźwiękowe (Soundtracks), winner of the 2019 Warsaw City Literary Prize. The title poem collages scenes from film, nature, and the origins of the universe to explore gaps between the source and the reception of a sound.
